Feeling Like Thy Breathe's Lost

When I woke up in the morning
and didn't find you
by my bedside.

I realized
you had gone
quietly
away in the horizon
beneath the mud
tulips covering you up
and a tomb standing firm
as an insignia of your departure.

I had slept with you
the day before
but why am I feelin'
feelin' like
thy breathe's lost.

And it was yesterday
you embraced me
we did make love
but I still don't understand
what made you go away.

Yes it was yesterday
she told me
she'll be with me
and I repeated the same.

But this morning
when I woke up
I couldn't find her
I couldn't locate her
by my bedside.
